West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Limited (WBIDC) was incorporated in 1967 under the Companies Act, 1956, as a wholly owned State Government Undertaking. The Corporation is committed to the industrial development of West Bengal through comprehensive support services.

The Delhi office, established in 1981, functions as the coordinating interface of the State Government with Union Industries Ministries and other Central Government Organizations. Headed by Advisor (Industry), this office plays a crucial role in liaisons and policy coordination.
